How to add new computer to family share?

The FAQ and help section for sharing isn't very helpful in outlining the steps needed to add another PC to the family share. Can anyone please help? I want to add my wife's PC to the share so that she can play some of the games I have in the library.

I clicked on the "manager other computers" button, but it only shows my own computer there and I just cannot see any button for like "add another computer" or any way to actually add another computer. How do I do it? It says you can have up to 10 other computers added, so I know it can be done, but how?

The same way you added the previous computer to family share. The sharing is not only granted for specific accounts, but also specific devices.

Log into your account on your wife's computer and authorize the device.
Just like you did last time.

Ohhh, I do it from her computer, gotcha. I thought I do it from my computer...

You open the settings & share from there.

Same thing for years.

1. Login to device want to enable family share on.
2. Open settings > Family > Enable authorize library sharing on this device > enable the account you share with, then you log out.
3. Your son login, and enjoy your shared library, it should appear those games from your library.

This isn’t working for me, I can play the games on the same device but not on the other device that I shared it to.

Have you shared on that other device.

Yes I shared it to the other device and on the other device I enabled share yet it doesn’t show up

You have to repeat the whole process if want to do family share on another device.

There a limit amount of devices that can be family shared, and accounts as well.

Not all games can be family shared as this is option by game dev to opt in this, or not for family share.

Please don't say "yes" while proceeding with what's a "no". If you haven't shared ON that that other device, don't say "yes".

I didn’t proceed to say no. I proceeded to say yes but even though I did enable it it wasn’t showing up.

Please answer the following question: have you shared ON that other computer? That is, have you loggeed into the owning account on that other computer?
