It seems steam don't want to accept my debit card

So i have this "An unexpected error has occurred. Your purchase has not been completed. Please wait a few minutes and try again." does anyone experiencing or experienced the same problem ?, do you guys able to fix this problem ?

I managed to pay using the same card but was through Paypal.

This is really not as convinient and now there is a third party handling my money. Meaning, there is another point of attack for anyone malicious.

Not to mention, I am not sure if Paypal just transacts exactly or they have some hidden transaction fee.

Could this really be just a dbs/posb issue? cause my debit card also got flagged and no surprise la but steam support was less than helpful, but the bank said there wasn't any issues on their end either.

it affects the bank's master debit. posb dbs visa debit is fine. (for now)

so i dont think is bank issue.

also a brand new card and number also get blocked, so i think it is targetting dbs posb master debit

i dont have other master debit from other banks to try. so i have no idea if its just posb dbs, but from the chat here seems like it is affecting particularly posb dbs and master debit

Been having this issue since last year as well, but for some reason dbs posb master debit works some times and doesnt work other times.

Hopefully one us will eventually figure it out. 😭
