Far as I know, I pay a game and do not rent it via steam, aka I pay for a software and this software asset should not be related to my account in 3th part (steam)
This suppose to be a issue for all users not only for me!!!
If tomorrow steam stop exist as a platform what we will do ?
if steam goes away, a decision will be made at that time.
as for contacting support, they mainly handle account and billing issues. random questions are not something they handle since it takes up time and there are far more important issues for them to be dealing with, things like helping someone recover their account, investigating scams, etc.
A note for the forum:
I love steam as a platform and I do not have anything against it.
However I will be happy if someone can help me to contact steam support team with my concerns.
@"magicISO Sweden" this is not true :)
If someone read carefully what I mean in this post will be understand what are my concerns and this is concern for all steam users.
Question, where is my license ? This license supposed to be related to the game develop/company not to the steam, Is that correct ?
you can find that by going to HELP, Steam Support, My Account, Data Related to My Account. lots of cool information there
Thanks !
But I think my concern is still here
Probably if I able to find all my billing information .. will look for that.
Get a product let say a phone, but if the shop from where you get the phone stop exist .. and for that reason you will not be able/allow to use your phone anymore
:) actually I do not have 800 games , I have 777 games since 2014 :D , but is a option, I agree
Do a search, you are not the first to come here with this, not by a long shot.
Hey, let's not go in conversation fight, this is not the point , I just have legitimate concerns
@B-o-B will try to research more on it, thanks
Overall, if someone help me to directly contact steam legal support I will get him/her a beer :D :D
Regards, to all !!!
