alt account hacked

Hello my alt account on steam has been hacked where I played alot of CS:GO, Rust, and Gta 5 and i spent prob ~$100 on the account ofcourse no where near as much as this account but still. The steam account was "csgonolifer73" (then changed it to something like "Big Daddy")and the user was something like "shenz" in a weird font. With a public profile now after the account got hacked the name is "𝓙𝓪𝓶𝓮𝓼𝔂 "(https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561199222909665" (btw the way ik the account is because it is linked to my rockstar account" please help me with this issue.

Your account didn't get "hacked" it was hijacked. Somewhere you were phished by entering all your account information into a scam website. These are usually 3rd party trading sites.

What happens is that scammers create a fake Steam login page, and then lures people to the page.
When the user then enters their username/password, the scammer simply uses them to login themselves.

What every steam user needs to learn is to NEVER use their account to login anywhere other that the actual steam client (or web site).

Typical methods for luring you to a fake steam login:

* Setup a website, and offer users free stuff. User logs in and loses their account.

* A "friend" sends a message asking you to vote for their team in some tournament, usually CSGO, DOTA2 or other popular games, via a link. User logs in and loses their account.

* Someone leaves a comment on your profile, saying how you should join their CSGO team by following a link. User logs in and loses account.

Hijacked not hacked. Hacking requires exploiting weakness in code. That doesn't happen on Steam. Hijacking is the issue and that's when users try logging on using a phishing website that steals their credentials. Recover and secure the account. Then stop using dodgy sites.

Follow the guide. If you can't enter details cause they've been changed or you don't remember use the I don't have/known this data option or just enter random dskjfhksjdfh to continue

no i mean i even lost access to the email so i cant do anythihng like it does in the guide

So your email account was also hijacked? That could be how the hijacker got into your steam account. It doesn't have to be phishing.
If you can recover the email account then do so.


You must have an email account in order to recover your steam account.
It can be any account, so create a new gmail account if you cannot access your old email.
Write the details down, and make sure the password is not used anywhere else.

Then follow the guide.
