How to change joystick range
I use a Switch Pro Controller that up until about two weeks ago worked completely fine. But now when I use it the left joystick cant quite reach the full range when facing upward. It is only slightly off, but it is enough to where it makes me not be able to run in Dark Souls unless I turn the camera away and run using a different direction. Is there any way to decrease the joysticks range so I can fully reach the edge?

Here are some pictures for reference:

You can lower Dead Zone Outer.

Stuff you've likely done but for full instruction sake:
1. Enable Steam Input for DS or Switch Pro Configuration Support for all games.

for all games:
View > Settings > Controller > General Controller Settings > enable Switch Pro Configuration Support

or just for DS:
Right-click DS in Steam Library > Properties > Controller > set override to Enable Steam Input

2. Access Configuration for DS, in or out of game
In-game: Press Home button and should get Steam overlay > Controller Configuration
Out: Right-click DS in Steam Library > Manage > Controller Configuration

3. Decreasing Joystick Range
Select left stick > Additional Settings > Enable Deadzone= Configuration, Dead Zone Outer: set slider further to the left > Back > Back > Done
