Why am I always online?

Even if I log out from pc and phone I stay 'Online'. It never changeds to away or snooze, my steam is always online lol I have no idea why. Usually it goes offline when I log out but for a while now it stays online for 24/7.

I logged out of mobile as well. Nothing changed. It usually be set to away when you are not on steam app or it shows a phone icon next to your name while using phone. My steam shows just online so it's not the phone.

My friends been telling me I'm always online. It's the emm you know when you are online it's next to your name. I also have another account, I see myself online even if I'm not.

I know nothing about that, but, in your place, I would contact steam support to see if they can help in any way...

Have you tried to set your friend status to Offline before logging out?

Yes, I have, I still be online after I do that and log out.

Worst case scenario, your account is opne somewhere else. If that's the case, it would be nice to know it and take the necessary actions. If you find out that's not the case, then you can just relax and be online forever without worrying something might happen.

True. I've changed my pw and everything to be safe.

I guess the phone is doing something that causes you to be "Online" 24/7 because I'm offline as well, yet the thing shows me as online.

This may be a major security concern. Try going to https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage and deauthorize all other devices, change your password, and see if the problem persists.

Maybe. But difference is, if you don't use your phone for an hour or so, you will go offline but I don't. I only dislike this because some of my friends talk to me or invite me to games thinking I'm there while I'm not.
