Steam Gift Cards and Currency Conversion
The Steam feature with sending gift cards to others works for them living in other countries, it states it will convert the currency.

My question is if anyone has experiance doing this or knows the exact value?

Let's say I gift a friend in the U.S a €25 card from Europe. Will he get $25 or less/more?

It will always depend on the conversion rate for euros, pounds, shillings, U.S. dollars, etc. As of writing, 25$ will cost around 20.34 euros. 25 euros will cost around 30.72$.

EDIT: As noted by Hotsauce,

Games are not always priced that way. Publishers don't always use 1 = 1 conversion on their prices.

Ah okay, I didn't take that into account due to them being known when it comes to actual game pricing to stick to a 1€=1$. Thanks!
