Disk Cleanup
Tried to reinstall one of my games but then my steam gave me the error message saying that i need to free up some disk space. Anyone know the whole process on how to do this?

The easiest and safest thing is to uninstall games you don't plan to play anytime soon.

Do you know how to check how much disc space you have left?
The hard drive you tried to install the game on didnt have enough free memory on it.

A recommendation is to remove unplayed games/use Windows own cleaner utility/turn off hibrid mode

If you don't know how to do it then the safest bet is to just uninstall games you don't plan to play. Chances are that the game you want to install requires more space than what you would be able to get with a cleaning software anyways.

Do the
"Run Disk Cleanup"
and
"Uninstall Space-Hungry Applications" steps to start.

that might be enough, skip the others if you don't need to.
