Account Hacked, Rocket League Items Stolen
Someone got into my account while I was on Rocket League by me entering login information into a legit looking webpage, and within the 2 min it took to recover my account, they logged into the game on their end and traded every item of value off of my account, totaling around $75. I tried finding contact info but can only find guides on the steam webpage. As for Psyonix, they don't roll back accounts or undo trades but I sent them a ticket anyway to see if they can do anything. Does anyone have any additional help or advice? I would love to find a way to stop them from catching other people too, but I don't have any clue how. It's not something the police can do much about, I already talked to my dad about it and he has worked for the police for over 20 years. I'm careful when it comes to account safety, so if I got fooled, then I'm certain there are other people who will too.

*EDIT: If you want to friend me to ask for more info, feel free to, but first let me share the results of what happened months ago with this. I've had a few people contact me already, so here is the info up front. "What happened with this? Did you get any help?" I'm glad you asked. The first time I contacted Psyonix, no. Their policy didn't allow them to do basically anything for me except send me a list of the items lost and who they were traded to. After someone contacted me months later saying they got their items returned, I contacted them again and asked if there was anything they could do for me even though it was an old case. They looked back at the history and sais "Yup our policies changed a bit" and after 2 more messages back and forth, I got keys returned as decryptors and items back all trade-locked. So as of the time of writing this update, rest assured that if your situation is the same as mine, they should be able to help you too.*

Yeah, so steam guard did nothing to help once they were in. As soon as I clicked enter on the webpage I was screwed
If you gave the code then there's little Steam Guard can do because that code is used to verify that it is you who are trying to log in from an unrecognized device.

Pretty much. Long story short, make dam sure you know the website is secure before entering any information into it

I'll defiently be watching for anything strange on my account, and the first thing I did was change my password and email info. Credit card info was not avalible.

Backup codes need to be created new as well. Probably the ones the hijacker made could be used for no good

Or just never enter your steam login into sites other than steam. You have no idea which is secure or not. 14 years on steam, never lost my account once and don't plan to.

Well I mean...phishing is oldest scam in the book. Who sent you that link? Usually people get phishing links from random people adding them then send you a link with some random explaination or trade offer.

I contacted someone through a trading website I have used many times in the past and have never had issues with. They sent me a link to their inventory list on a different trading website.
