Half-Life 2 Mod download safety
I checked out moddb.com, but i'm not sure if I can trust it. The site says that my privacy is not entirely guaranteed. Is there a safer way to download mods?

moddb.com is a pretty good site to download HL2 mods.

Well you could download a few HL2 mods from Steam but Valve abandoned that many years ago. There's probably like 3 or 4 HL2 mods on Steam.

Private and safe are not the same thing.

You think Steam guarantees your privacy when you download games?

What are are you actually worried about?

Moddb is fine, and I would recommend RunThinkShootLive formerly known as PlanetPhillip, for great community and challenge maps that Phillip has been running for years. All completely safe.

(Forcen) Honestly, I'm concerned about people who want my ID. I'm kind of sensitive to my online security.
