transfer a Uplay game to Steam license?
I own Might & Magic Heroes VI and The Settlers 7 Paths to a Kingdom and play them with the UPlay app. These are the only two games I own 'over there'. Since I like the Steam/Valve app and interface much better I was wondering if I can transfer the license over to Steam.

In other words since I purchased the games in past (on disc), can I play them here on Steam although I manage them with Uplay app.

Thanks a lot.

No you can't. You can add them to "non steam game" in your library and click play on them. However they technically aren't on steam for you. Even steam chat works on most games if you do it that way.

Click "Add A Game" on the bottom left of the steam client, "Add a Non Steam game"

If you want them to be officially on your Steam account, then you can try asking Uplay for a Steam key for each of these games. However, be prepared for them to decline your request.

Also if you get a game that uses Uplay, on Steam, then you may need to run both Uplay and Steam in order to play it.

That is like asking can you somehow make ps4 copy of a game transfered to work on your xbox account.

Simply put , you can only add those games to steam library as a "non steam game". In most cases you can use steam overlay on them but your hours dont count , game wont show on your profile and you get no achievements via steam for for them etc.
