Got a UK steam key and I'm in the US, is there any way to redeem it without a vpn or anything like that?

I got a Fallout new vegas code from a giveaway on twitter but it was a UK code so I can't redeem it in the US. Any advice?

Did you try to redeem it? I don't see there being a distinctly different or region locked version of FO:NV for the UK. There are no listings for Russia, Ukraine, Poland, India, Kazakhstan, or CIS region and there's a purchase restriction on the non-Ultimate version for Germany.

Would you be able to change your settings on steam so it thinks your in uk then use the code? Steam has five rule/guideline links in seperate places they used to protect themsleves and "help" there consumers but its a front for there protection, and somewhere it goes clah blah anbout changeing regions, so maybe confirm abouit changeing your region is ok for a steamkey. Useing a VPN is against rules guidelines, since thats one more data pool they can market with. Buuuut in theory you could do it without issue, just double check changeing region for an authentic code is alright to do.

If you really want to play F:NV (and you should, because it is great) then buy it during a sale. It came out more than TEN YEARS AGO, you can pick it up cheap as chips these days during any sale.
