However, are you the owner of the card? Do your details on Steam match those on the card?
i think ill have to register it but vanilla prepaid doesn't have a register option
1) look at the back of the card
2) it has a website where you can register
3) go to that website
4) register the card
5) register an addresss
vanilla prepaid absolutely has this option.
i have seen it reported alot and as well experienced it before, called my bank and no such "hold" or anything was verified on their end, needless to say... after waiting and trying again that same day, the transaction went through, tho with steams weird system, i wouldnt try repeatedly or you might get stuck with a 24+ hour cooldown or blamed for fraud and have to mess with customer support, hopefully the game you are purchasing isnt on sale and going to end before your purchase decides to go through.
good luck.
edit: if thats a prepaid gift card, you shouldnt need to register it, as it doesnt matter because its a one time use (ie.. the card is garbage when the funds are gone), if its a reloadable card, then you may have to register it.
But the card doesn't work on other stores like epic games
i have no clue about epic, i dont use that store and most likely never will.
not sure what to tell ya.
