Steam chat not displaying Windows emoji?
Friends and I have a group chat. We sometimes post Wordle results there.

The Wordle results (green, yellow squares, etc.) use Windows emoji.

For most of us, the emojis display normally. For one person, they only see black and white squares. The Steam software & chat is up to date for everyone.

Does anyone know what might be happening?

Are they on Win7? If yes, they won't receive Unicode revision updates anymore.
