Invisible mode on starting Steam

I stay invisible after starting Steam and I don't want it. I don't want to hide from my friends what I am playing but I always forget to turn back online after each start.
It was normal some months ago but from some point this is happening

If you click the "view friends list' button under "Friends" at the top of steam it should allow you to click a drop down on your name and change what status you display.

If it's showing you invisible on startup I'm not sure why.

yeah, I know how to change my status. I don't know why my status is invisible after every launching steam

I'm not quite sure why it would show invisible on startup every time.
As long as you change your status it shouldn't change itself.

Try opening the Friends & Chat (bottom-right of Steam Client)
Sign in if you have to.
Then click the "gear" at the top-right of the newly opened Friends & Chat window
Go to Friends List tab
Make sure you have "Sign in to friends when Steam Client starts" set to ON.

The friends list settings moved back to the main client settings when they updated the UI this year (2023). That's why you don’t see it.

Steam > Settings > Friends & Chat
