HELP! Wishlist loads forever, but opens if I'm not logged in!

As stated in the title. Wishlist has been stuck on the loading phase for a couple of days now. I tried so many suggestions and nothing worked. I only recently managed to view my wishlist by opening it while not logged in!!! So it works on browsers other than my default one, it works when I open private windows where I'm not logged in, but won't work in browser, client, or even mobile client where I'm logged in!

I guess I can view it for now at least, but I can't edit and organize the wishlist which is very important for me since I have a gazillion games on there. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does this also happen via client as well?

What broswer are you using? Are you using any addon for broswer that might be causing conflict?

Yep, happens via the browser, client, and android client as well. Basically anywhere I'm logged in!

I've always used Firefox, and never had this issue before. I'm using a few addons but it's been ages since I've installed any new add-on, and the wishlist always worked with these add-ons as well. But even if an add-on was causing this, wouldn't that mean that the wishlist should still work in the client or in the mobile app? So weird :/

Not sure what could be the problem if that the case TBH. I know by mobile app if have large wishlist can take bit of time to load. Anyways if nothing working then possible server sided issue from what it sounds like.

Yeah that's what's frustrating me. I really rarely resort to posting online about PC issues, because I'll almost always either figure it out by myself or find a solution online. Not this time though. I really hope it will fix itself soon because I'm all out of ideas :(

I hope it also get resolve on it own too, and yeah often times we can solve things, but never hurt to ask for help on things just incase of whatever really.

Well... it happened. It got resolved on its own. Just like that. Such a bizarre situation but I'm just glad it's over and I hope it never happens again. How else can I keep track of all those games I'm never going to have the time to play

Won't load for me ATM. Browser, client, mobile app. Never happened until I started adding notes to some of my wishlist but I don't think that has anything to do with it.

This just started happening to me as well, right around the time that God of War released. Can't access it via any device or browser where I'm logged in.

Looks like it's also not working for syncing with isthereanydeal.com, as I wishlisted God of War when it came out and it's still not showing up in my list there. My guess is that it's something server side.

Yeah something is really really wrong with the wishlist system recently. After the issue resolved itself earlier this week it resurfaced a couple of days ago and resolved itself again an hour or so ago. Give it a try and see if it works now.

Yep. It broke again. Here's an inconvenient temporary half-solution though. Try opening your wishlist in incognito mode or with another browser where you're not signed in. Not ideal but it's a way to check the sale deals at least.

It's working now. I was about to theorize that it might be acting up due to an issue with some specific game(s) on our wishlists, since I've found an older Steam forums discussions where removing Battlefield V from the wishlist fixed the issue for many people, but I'm not sure if I can even make that assumption now. It's just too random. Schizophrenic wishlist
