Cant Send digital gift card to friend with paypal or any other payment method

İ want to send a 5 Euro Digital gift card to my friend but it always says *There seems to have been an error initializing or updating your transaction. Please wait a minute and try again or contact support for assistance.* and i cant buy do anything even when i try to add currency to my steam acc it always gives me this error help please

How long have you had this problem?
My guess is that Steam servers are having problems handling payments right now.
I would wait until tomorrow before trying again

Same.. I have contacted steam support and they basically told me this:

Depending on where you live, your issue and OPs might not be the same. Support’s standard vague answer says a lot.

Countries such as Argentina and Turkey, - due to price hopping - have been “unofficially” blocked from gifting digital cards. Support isn't acknowledging it as a rule.

(OPs issue is obviously not that.)

yeah I guessed so as well. if they won't let me buy cheap games then i'll just torrent them lol
