Help with emailing a digital steam card
How do I email my kids a digital steam gift card to each of them? I don't know what accounts they use but I do know their emails so I hope they can click on a link or something and they can get a code or something. I can't figure out how to email steam support on this for help either. Thanks.

Valve doesn't offer gifting to emails anymore and that was only available for game gifts. You send the digital gift card to their accounts, directly. You must be Steam friends for at least 72 full hours first.

You could buy physical Steam gift cards, then just email the codes (or snap a picture of the back.) Just make sure you send it to the right addresses.

For proof of ownership purposes, just in case, he would need to send a picture of the receipt and the card.

Oh wow didn't know this. Not very user friendly setup. I don;t have them on my steam because I don't use steam often. 72 hours yikes, didn't know this either. Lots of red tape to make a simple thing complicated. Thank you.

Yeah. Back before digital gifts cards were available, game gifts could be sent via emails but users kept on sending their gifts to the wrong emails and Valve decided to only do direct gifting to accounts.
