VAC doesn't ban for scripts. However, you still should understand what a downloaded configuration does before you apply it.

You really shouldn't do that at all, if you don't already know what it does.

You have zero knowledge of what a downloaded file even has in it - and "a youtuber dude" is hardly a reputable source.

In fact, youtubers MASQUERADING as 'popular ones' have been known to spread a LOT of bad info and lead to a LOT of hijacked accounts.

You should avoid that at all costs. Don't believe everything that anyone says. If you need a config or file, ask in the relevant game hub instead here on Steam.

What exactly is this config? If it tampers with your gameplay and Overwatch deem something is awry, you may very well get game banned even if such things are bannable by VAC.

Stop believing BS youtubers that you put in "userdata" folder. Create a custom folder in the game's directory and put it there.
