Are winter sale cards provided by spending money on games?
Title. Also, if answer is yes, how much do i need to pay for one?

Yes. Roughly 10$ is a card.

Add item to cart, visit your cart, scroll down, and you see banner with meter in it, under meter tells you how much need to spend to earn a card.

If you're from USA, $10 for 1 card.

If you want a bunch of cards you can buy the cards off people from the Steam market place they may go around for like 5 ~ 10 cents each card.


You can also earn a free card daily by doing your discovery queue on Steam store.

Yeah, i remember this kind of "progress bar" from previous sales, but when i bought a game yesterday, it wasn't there. It didn't cost 10 dollars though, and most of this cash was from a game i refounded like month ago, so
maybe that's the reason. I will buy something today, and see if it works.
