Unable to upload artwork, just says "error processing your request" each time
I want to upload fanart for the game Sewer Rave. And I have a whole other rant about art for games you don't own on steam, but on other places, or just don't own at all. But right now I just want to figure out why I can't upload my art.

I was able to before, I have very, very old pieces up in my profile rn, but when I click continue, it just comes up with an error.

I'll try restarting steam and see if that works, and delete this thread immediately if it does.

Is the file maybe too big too upload or in the wrong format?

Has to be GIF, PNG or JPG and maximum of 8 MB

And i sometimes try different webbrowser if i get an error, in chrome for example, it usually works with firefox.

I found the solution.
It turns out that, while I did make, and upload the art to other places. I should've saved the art directly to my folders as well. I downloaded it back from twitter but twitter puts things in .jpg format, and I wanted to keep it in .png, so I changed the name to .png but I think that might've corrupted it.
I got an uncorrupted .png version from another place I uploaded it and it's fine.

Thanks for the help, though.

Changing the file extension will not convert the file type. So yes, you confused it. You would need an image editor or format converter to change the format.

Now you know

It... It literally does though.
There's literally an option in windows 7 and 10 that lets you change file types that way...
