Steam Link - Non-Steam games
Hey, i just bought Steam Link hardware, i wonder why some Non-Steam games (i mean those, which are bought outside of Steam) work perfectly fine with Steam Link and other games does not, even if they have full support of controllers. For example, i launched Riders Republic straight from Ubisoft Connect and controller was recognized from the start. On the other hand i launched Just Cause 4 from Epic Games Store and it was almost unplayable. Maybe there is some sort of list of non-Steam games that support Link?

I have found that Ubisoft is very good with controller support. I like using my dualsense and most of their games have an option for PS4.5 inputs.

With rockstar launcher I launch that through steam on pc to get better controller support.

I don't have the steam link but if you can add Epic launcher as a non steam game and see how it works that way.

So what you're saying is not to add games directly to Steam, but the Epic Games Store as the application, right?
