How to find someone by their old username?

I'm currently trying to find an old friend through steam. How exactly can go? Also I have screenshots of his old username if that's of any use.

I don't think there is an option to find people by their previous username, but the fastest way to find is searching by their Custom URL Name if you remember

If you've ever gifted or traded them something before you can go to your inventory, hit the "..." in the top right and go "view gift history/ trade history", find where and what you gifted/traded them and it should show their current name.
