This should create a SteamLibrary in your D: Drive and can be selected as an option on your next Steam download. Moving existing installations from C: Drive to another drive may corrupt the files.
Drive must always be connected.

Settings > Downloads > Click on "Steam Library Folders"
Click the Plus Symbol next to Windows (C:)
Click the drop-down menu and select D:\ and click "New Folder..."
This should create a SteamLibrary in your D: Drive and can be selected as an option on your next Steam download. Moving existing installations from C: Drive to another drive may corrupt the files.
Only some files will be corrupted, mainly the ones that use target path. I would strongly suggest uninstalling and reinstalling on another drive rather than moving the folder over.
