How to add another drive as a library folder?
Since the Storage Manager update cant figure how this works

1. Go to Settings/Downloads - Mange Library folders. Click on Plus
2. Get that small box: Add a steam folder to library
3. Can't copy or drag new drive and folder I want where is the option to select the drive and directory I want?

I am assuming you want to use your D: drive as a SteamLibrary.

  • Settings > Downloads > Click on "Steam Library Folders"
  • Click the Plus Symbol next to Windows (C:)
  • Click the drop-down menu and select D:\ and click "New Folder..."

This should create a SteamLibrary in your D: Drive and can be selected as an option on your next Steam download. Moving existing installations from C: Drive to another drive may corrupt the files.

You should have a Steam folder on your USB drive, and have moved installation files of some games to that folder. Then that folder will include the Steamapps folder and the common, manually navigate to this folder once you click on add . Expand the small arrow at the top where you see programfilesx86 and use that to navigate to the new folder.
Drive must always be connected.

You say my files will be corrupted. Does that mean 130 GB will be corrupted and I need to download again. If i already moved to D drive, how do I know what to re-download again.

Only some files will be corrupted, mainly the ones that use target path. I would strongly suggest uninstalling and reinstalling on another drive rather than moving the folder over.
