What do I type for billing address?

I never had a problem with this before, my quote on quote "billing address" was just my email but it turns out that's not what a billing address is. I am very new to being an adult and having a bank account. So what do I type for billing address. And yes I'm stupid so no need to comment on that.

Where would the bill get sent to, if there was a paper bill which would get sent to an address. To put it differently, it's the legal address of the person paying for the purchase with their money.

Billing address is typically always going to be your home address. If a financial institution were to send a notice or letter to your house, this is your billing address.

In some situations your billing address would differ from your home address. An example of this would be as an authorized user of someone else's credit card. Often parents will add a child to their credit card account. If that child is at college, their home address is where they are living at college but the billing address would be their parent's house.

If it is in regards to something like Steam Wallet funds where there is no bank or financial institution, the billing address would simply be your home address.

Define "they". A false billing address constitutes fraud and banks don't like fraud. Ultimately, this may get the OP's Steam account restricted.
