Steam staff will not extort, blackmail or threaten users. They also don't need gift cards or virtual currency to perform support for users. No credible company on the planet operate this way. A very expensive lesson learned.

It's staggering how everyone on Discord lets their guards down so easily.

Yeah my friend also got this scam as well but he was smart enough to not do it
