I dont have any problem of this and I dont have any MOD.

Disable cloud simple fix. Saves are usually stored on our HDD with all games and cloud uses them. If and when there is an inconsistancy they get corrupted by not matching cloud.

We dont need to use cloud unless you use 2 computer devices and want play games in Steam on a different computer.
Just backup and make copies of current progress of saves. Store on a different drive or online storage.
Use Google to find location of saves your're talking about.
