Games like arkanoid?

Can you recommend me games like Arkanoid, but with bosses? Maybe even with upgrades that you can buy?

The only Arkanoid like game I know of on Steam is Shatter.

Actual never thought of it maybe thats why some of us love flipper games.
i dont want to derail the topic , but as you do there with skill to hit them we do same in flipper games, do know flipper games also is arcade now, but i understand if you dont think so, i just see a playstyle and you need to see it before you get it.
and then i was a kid i will not say flipper games and arkanoid is same, but then you are adult you might understand it better.

but as you guess why we left Arkanoid from C64 and amiga , and now play games 40years later then you get it, and no i will not play arkanoid games, we have moved on, in diffrent style in flipper.

we left gyrus,zaxxon and arkanoid and all them games a long time ago. somehow pinball games seem to be there and then game change to 3D, as i try to explan, just wait 20 year and i bet many of them games will not be played by you, i just notice wtf pinball did do that and try see it as you are on one side of screen and hit something on other side, as i said call it platform games sure , and yet its not that alone , its funny how pinall games still use same plot ( skills to hit other object and they are still there. in new graphic, as i said you need to see it from that angle, i have not played a game like that in aged, i need a emulator to go back in time.

as i said i think most older people might get it if you dont know what c64 and amiga is then its olds home computer from the past and there was so many of them games , i think we got filled up with them types and never played again later. im sorry it was never ment to derail topic

its just most went on to desent or other types and we never see them new arkanoids what might have been made. looking forward to see other ideas.

Thanks! Death's hangover seems to be the only one that contains horror elements and bosses.
Iceira: I'm not interested in flipper games, they are an entirely different subgenre. Like comparing FPS with TDS.
