Profile not updating ?

So i just purchased a game but my profile didn't update.

It's not showing correct number of games in terms of numbers... should have +1 the current one i bought.

Anyone know why this happens ?

May be the profile page update is not real time or cached by browser.

It might be updated next day, or just log out and log on again.

Any game that is Profile Features Limited or still in Steam's Learning Phase do not count towards your game count until that status is removed from the game.

I am not 100% sure so i could be mistaken but if i remember right when i pre-ordered GOD OF WAR it still was showing up i think in the "Games" list", however i have not check back then to actually see so i might be mistaken about GOW as well.

A game that is not released yet. Not all pre-orders show in the game list before release.

Given that it hasn't released, it could be either/or.

Regardless of it counting or not, you own the game. It's not going to prevent you from playing the game just because it didn't count towards your total game count. There's also a possibility that you have a game that was delisted recently, so adding a new game just made up for it.

Your game count is going to fluctuate more when you accumulate more titles. Don't sweat over one or two every now and then.

I usually keep track of my number of games and i did match should be +1 WITH Skywalker Saga.

But i also searched on the Skywalker Saga steam forum and it looks like others who have also pre-ordered had this issue as well, not showing up in they're "Games" list either.

For ... whatever. Valve found the game in violation of their TOS, publisher decided to remove it from the store, DMCA claim forcibly removed the game for sale, whatever.

You mean about doing the math or others on the forum ?

Math-wise i should have +1 game than my current number of games.

But on the forums yeah i did find others with same issue.

Probably will show the +1 when the game actually releases.
Not that is anything important or urgent.
