sending money as a gift to a friend with different currency
i have a friend who lives in turkey and games are cheaper on his store. If i send the same amount in € does it exchange and he can essentialy buy the game with the cheaper price in his country?

Wallet codes of a different currency cannot be redeemed in most cases now https://help.steampowered.com/en/faqs/view/78E3-7431-1E88-AD59 and digital gift cards also now have such restrictions.

Turkey and Argentina can not send or receive digital gift cards.

ah thats sad, i wanted to play a game with him which is too expensive for his standard in his country (diff economy level) and i wanted to buy it for him as a gift and its 15euro cheaper in his store thought why not.
