Hi,

So I was playing Elden Ring on my main account and noticed I kept getting server status check failed. I reset Elden Ring which had no effect, and I noticed the cloud server did not update on Steam. I reset my PC, but when I tried to log back onto Steam and it said Steam is having trouble connecting to the Steam servers. I tried logging into this account which is working fine, so I tried logging into my main account on the website and not the client, and it is showing an error message saying 'The account name or password that you have entered is incorrect.' So basically not recognising my account. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi, thank you for this. Unfortunately I have received no email from Steam regarding any attempted login on my account. I also have Steam Guard enabled which did not notify me at any point. As a result, I'm not sure if it is my account being hacked? Perhaps it is a server issue?

Don't worry brother, it's because of Steam, these people are just copy pasting without knowing anything.Many people are cannot login or see their profiles right now.

Same problem with my boyfriend's account after playing Elden Ring. He can't log in to account. He tried to reset password, but got an error: "An error occurred while searching for an associated account. Please try again." His account acts like disappeared. On my friends list it is showing the "?" image and the username is changed to numbers. When I want to see his profile I'm getting an error.
Hope it will be fixed soon.

This just happened with my wife's account... she tried Elden ring and returned it a couple days ago... she hasn't tried to log in to steam until today.
The description of account acting like it disappeared sounds like same issue she's having.
- No emails received, no purchases (including checked credit card even)... tried username, email, and phone number... nothing has worked.

Had the same issue, had to wait around 3 hours now, but it works now like it did before...
All i can say is be patient, the problem is not in your account.
