Controller problem

My controller is not working in games it stopped working suddenly today
I am using it for Tlauncher minecraft which is added to the library it worked great upto yesterday but today i tried it and if stopped working suddenly
It is working when i hold the home button on it but it doesn't function when i don't press the home button (hold) this is a problem cause who would like to hold the home while playing a game
Upto yesterday it worked normally
But now it has a problem i want to fix it as fast as i can

oh ye mb it was actually a problem in steam games itself i just reinstalled steam and it is again working fine thx u
