Brand New xbox 360 controller "B" Button won't work at all And "Y" and "X" Mixed Up

i just bought this wired xbox 360 controller for windows and "B" doesn't work in games or steam full screen and Y And X are mixed up. so Y works For X and X for Y. (sound like math lmao) and this isn't the first time this happend. i had the same controller. it worked normally but then b stopped working for sum reason. i threw that controller away cuz it had drift in its left stick but now its a brand new one and the same problem appeared but its a new one. no drift, just B not working and Y and X mixed. do i have to change setting or something?

Is it an original Microsoft one? Why a 360 and not an XBox One gamepad?

How does the test at callibrating in windows 10 act with the buttons?

i'm not sure. it says microsoft. microsoft Xbox 360 Controller for Windows. and xbox and windows logos together. and i couldnt find xbox one gamepad so i got this one instead.

Also! it has a sticker saying "CREATED BY XBOX' (under it) "MICROSOFT" and has product original and authentic product said around the sticker

Hey Everyone. thanks for attention. i figured out the reason. i had controller configurations on nintendo switch pro controller because i tried using nitnendo joycons as a controller one time a year ago or something (i havent used a controller in a year lol) and i didnt change it back to nomral so every controller was used like a nintendo switch pro controller with has diffrent buttons and used in a diffrent way. it was kinda dumb on my part. anyways, thanks!
