Careful of which game you review because steam will send that to your friends!

I am older and play adult games. My 21 year old daughter came to me and asked me why I am recommending her to play a sex game! That was an awkward moment. My daughter is too old for me to limit what she sees on steam but that still don't mean I want steam to send her messages saying I recommend that she plays a sex game.

When I play a game and give it a good rating, evidently steam takes it on themselves to send everyone a message telling them I recommend this game to them. I put my privacy settings on private for a reason.

Is there any way to stop steam from this stupidity? I am not in Law but boy does this seem really unlawful to use my name against my will for advertising.

The activity feed also shows games you wish list, games you buy and the achievements you get. Reviews aren't treated any differently.
