3rd party keybinds not working while tabbed into steam/steam game

Whenever i try to mute on discord or play a sound on voicemod it doesnt work, it never used to do this, it happened randomly, i thought time would fix it but NOPE, to answer your questions that will probably be asked, no, no keybind is interfering with it in game, no settings is either. I changed nothing to make this happen, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this is so annoying man
