Please help. I can't buy anything
I tried Visa, Webmoney, Paypal. Nothing is working. Always the same error:

There seems to have been an error initializing or updating your transaction. Please wait a minute and try again or contact support for assistance.

Any ideas how to fix this? Thanks!

You're getting this possibly because Steam's payment servers are not working as expected at the moment, or you need to contact Support, as the message explains, for more assistance.

You're getting this because you made a lot of purchase *attempts* in a short period of time. The cooldown for this is usually one full hour since you last see the error, meaning if you try another attempt before the cooldown has expired, it resets. Just refrain from making a purchase attempt for 60 minutes and it should expire. Or, in the meantime, reach out to Support and ask them about the first error and see if there is anything wrong that is preventing you from making a purchase.

Stop spamming the checkout. Wait about 30 minutes or an hour and try again. If you still get the error, contact support.

Every time I reach out to support for help my support requests just keep closing by themselves. Not sure what else I can do but I’m having the same issue.

okay it sucks but im glad it seems to be on steams side, I literally bought 5 cases earlier, was about to get the keys and then i got that message
