They refunded me and i got no alerts in my bank what so ever so im not sure
Valve did, the money didn't even come out of my bank as i checked.
I checked my paypal transactions and it sent it went through well and maybe an hour later i got a refund and i checked my bank and it says nothing went out or in that involved steam or valve,
I found it odd that paypal said money went in and out but my bank didn't since they are linked
Call your bank.
If you didn't *ask* Valve for a refund .. then Valve did *not* "refund" you.
You might have gotten your money back, but that does not mean Valve did it.
Call your bank on the phone and speak to a person.
Don't just look at paypal's website or your bank's website. Call the bank and ask what happened.
I get "This account appears to have been used for fraudulent activity.
Steam Support has flagged your account as potentially having been used for fraudulent activities. Please contact Steam Support so that we can assist you."
so i think they going to give a refund either way, and i think valve did give me a refund because it says in the transaction history in account settings they refunded me and also says that in the contact support section i have
Steam "returning your money to you" is not the same as being "Refunded". At least not in English/legal talk.
Steam may have returned your money because your BANK or Paypal did a Chargeback.
A Chargeback would cause Steam to give you that fraud alert on your account.
You should contact Steam support, and your bank.
i have no idea why you seem opposed to calling your bank on the phone. It makes me think you *are* using someone elses bank account fraudulently.
If it's your bank that you legit are allowed to use call them just to *be sure* everything is okay from their end. Do not just trust the websites.
It says refunded both in the steam purchase history and in paypal
Im not sure why you think i fraudulently used another card, if i did its very stupid in me generally creating a support ticket and making this aware in a discussions forum, but i did start contacting my bank
A user called "Crazy Tiger" thinks i did attempt to use a stolen card
