steamcommunity.com is currently unable to handle this request. HTTP ERROR 500
Hi,

I have faced the difficulty of attempting to connect my YouTube with steam for some reason when I attempt to connect it errors, everything logs in fine but as soon as log in is completed I get the error.

I have opened a support ca;; with Steam but they have informed me they cannot help and my only option is waiting for them to provide an update.

Hi,

I am trying to link my steam account with my youtube to load videos for some achievements but everytime I attempt to connect my account it errors and then I cannot access my video page for approximately 5 minutes.

I'm not sure why?

Kind Regards

Hi.

As an Applications Engineer, I am severly shocked that such a large organisation like yourselves cannot handle such a simple issue. I am getting an error 505 everytime I attempt to access my videos page which is either an error in the code or your proxy is causing issues.

I feel like this issue could be escalated to 2nd or 1st line support, surely there is a solutions such as manually inputting my youtube connection details through your side or debugging my account as I am completely locked out from accessing that page.

I don't think that the response given to me was at all helpful or progressive it just closes my support call un-fixed.

Kind Regards
Byron

Again, we're sorry that we do not have a fix for you at this time.

In the case you would like to attempt something, please try the following steps to clear your web browser cache.

1. Open the Settings panel in the Steam Client by selecting “Steam > Settings” from the top left menu.
2. Select the Web Browser tab.
3. Click on "Delete Web Browser Cache" and then select "OK" to proceed and re-test the issue.

In the case this does not help you, we need to investigate further into a fix for this issue, however, you would not receive notification of this fix via this ticket.

Best Regards,
Chris

I've been having the exact same problem for the past few days, and it seems to have not been fixed yet. It must be such a small problem but I guess no one wants to fix it

I have also http error 500 in my activity tab, tried with several other devices and same problem. Other pages in my profile works normally? Is it steam server problem or something broken in my account?

same here, trying to get more people to post about it so maybe it gets noticed and fixed. It seems all third party sites you can use to login with steam don't work right now. Im getting same error code 500

Same here, mine just doesn't load at all; both third-party sites I tried (Kongregate and MetaGamerScore) had the issue, seems to be across all of the services allowing you to connect to Steam. Weird thing is, all of Steam's other services are just fine lol
