But if it is just downloading GIF from existing site, you can press F12 on Chrome to see each componet. Then you can download the particular file.
If you want to create animated GIF, there are many different tools available.
What I did there was upload the cutout background gif specifically for it to fit into the steam artwork showcase.
I want to do the same but with a different animated background, the problem is that I did this almost more than a year ago and I don't know how to do it again, what I would need is to be able to get the gif of the new background that I want to change and use the part cropped from the middle.
Like what Steam.Design does, but SteamDesign gives you those images in PNG format
2- Click on *view my profile*
3- Right Click on your animated background
4- Scroll down and choose inspect
5- Click on *div.profile_animated_background*
6- Right click on brighted part
7- Choose copy then copy element
8- Create one notepad Then paste the element there
9- Choose an address that ends with (.webm) format and copy that
for example:
https://cdn.cloudflare.steamstatic.com/steamcommunity/public/images/items/700600/084b4654b1824c15573b75e4b4b43e53a2505f3b.webm
10- open the *https://steam.design* site.
11- Paste it in the section called *paste a background URL here*
12- Then Click on *Download Zip*
13- The files are in *MP4* format after downloading, You have to convert them to GIF format.
14- For this, you can go to these sites: https://cloudconvert.com & https://ezgif.com.
Point: Steam limited artwork upload capacity (from 8 Mb to 5 Mb)
