Friends account was locked by someone claiming to be the founder of the steam community service

A person going by THOMAS on steam locked my friends account but my friend showed me the conversation he had with them on discord, the hacker sent him two links for SCGO skin gambling and TF2 stuff and told him to buy a certain thing, my friends account was accidentally reported by a friend and the friends account is snowflakedeer>~<

That's the thing the hacker some how locked his account and then unlocked it and changed everything of it. And now I'm having trouble on finding the hackers account on steam, but the hacker did something I've never see or heard of before he told my friend to sign into another account which I believe was hacked from someone else.

Only contact the real steam support on the homepage. Do nothing else.

On the Internet the rule of Scam is "Guilty until PROVEN innocent". Always assume it's a scam and demand firm proof before you take any steps.

Also tell your friend that no one that works for steam will contact them through discord. Steam will just ban you with a warning in the steam client.
