I can't remove my custom URL

I go to edit profile and delete my custom URL. it says "Your profile will be available at: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561199158392370/" but after i click save and check my profile, i still see my custom URL.

At present, there is no way to fully remove a custom URL. You can change it to something else, but you cannot remove it.

There is a way: write to Steam Support and they will remove

Custom URLs are intentionally not able to be deleted or reset by users. Instead, users can change to a different custom URL if they do not like their current one. This is to prevent various potential abuses in the Steam Community.

However, if your account is in good standing, Steam Support will reset your Profile URL to the default.

There's no abuse, lol. If you are talking about people doing shady stuff and changing their URL that won't work since the SteamID will never change and all you have to do is click the "follow" button anyway.

Steam Support said that to me. They reset my custom url, so I just copy-paste what did they write.
