Opening certain Steam games makes everything look pixelated
System info:
Windows 10
AMD FX(tm)-8320 Eight-Core Processor, 3500 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)
10 GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti (4 GB)

I've been trying to play Destiny 2, but every time I open it, the graphics suddenly get significantly worse and everything looks pixelated to the point where it's hard to read text. The problem persists after I close the game--everything on my Desktop looks so awfully pixelated that I can barely read anything, although restarting the PC gets rid of the issue until I open the game again. This has happened with other games as well (Skyrim, No Man's Sky), but doesn't happen at all with some games (Stick Fight, Fez). I've tried updating the NVIDIA driver, which actually seemed to work for the first 30 seconds after I opened Destiny 2, but reverted back to being awful soon after. Any tips on how to fix this?

Thanks

Generally if you can see pixels the cause of that is running a resolution setting larger than the game is designed for. For example if the application is designed to run in 1920x1080 and we choose to run it in 1024x768 all of the images for the app are magnified = you see squares (pixels). Try a higher resolution.
