It should be running at 100% under stress right?
Compare the test result

That would indicate a CPU bottleneck if it was running at 100%. 50% is perfectly normal.

Also keep in mind this is game and app dependent. Some are more CPU or GPU intensive than others.

how are you testing?
cpu may be limiting it, or heat

try with gpuz render test
gpuz -> click the ? under the amd logo -> start render test
switch to sensor tab to make sure its running at 100% gpu load and core/ram clocks reach their max
A benchmark gives a result. That is what is comparable. Only if that result is bad you should look how that happens.

No a GPU should be running at 95-100% if it isn't that means the CPU is holding it back.

CPU is 25%-35% and GPU 40%-50% but my friend said GPU should be 100% while using the heaven benchmark so he thinks that is why i'm getting low frames in games and there is a problem with the GPU but I know nothing and looking for afix.

I'm getting like 20 to 30 fps in skyrim and other games I've had issues.

Did you use the test that is meant to bring gpu to 100%?

Can your friend possibly be mistaken?

Does your friend have the exact same system as you?

Do you want to test the stability and cooling?
Then you want a 100% test (with caution).

If you want to test gaming and grafic, you do not need 100%.

What CPU do you have if you don't mind me asking?

My fps normally floats around 30 which just seems like a console but i've paid double the price and youtube videos show 60fps to over 100 for some games.
