G29 Turning Help!?
Logitech G29 on American Truck Simulator, all programs are updated, inside of ATS the steering control button/commands are "unassigned" steam reads my G29 so does ATS, but when I turn 90 degrees it reads a full turn instead of rotating 450 degrees, help!?

Set to 900 Degree in the logitech driver?

sensitivity correct in the game..

Probably would get better assistance from the official ATS forums though.

Unfortunately I checked days now on research, yes its all set correctly. IDK what the problem is, LGS is set with persistence, G29 is set at 900. Sensitivity is working on all settings in the game, the problem is when I rotate 90 degrees it registers it as a full turn, Ive done what I could by far, thx for response.

It is a bit odd.. as I just played quite a few hours driving without the issue you speak of.

Have you tried a clean install of the drivers and a verify of the actual game.

MODS perhaps..

They did a recent update that might have broken a couple.. I know my physics mod is now not functional.

I see yes ive done a clean uninstall, its a true copy on steam, no mods, clean start, it still is weird. BUT within the last 24 hrs I built a PC. Mac is a no no for me, its ridiculous how difficult it is to find contents in a mac, literally holding down alt to find hidden files? Windows for the rest of my life for me! lol , so im going to attempt to play and see how this wheel works with this configuration. ill update

Does the wheel work with other games.. have you check the wheels raw data?

Have you given Logitech Gaming Software a go for your steering wheel needs?

I used it to get my Logitech GT Driving Force working very well in several games. Mainly older ones though. It was often either a case of making a profile and changing some settings within it, or from within the game itself. I couldn't tell you whether you should be rooting for a newer version of LGS or an older one though, because I have a pretty old version myself, and I have no idea whether the G29 is before or after the point when PS3's started having their own steering wheels for sale. I remember having to reach out for pretty old drivers though. That much I remember.
But being able to set up degree turns and stuff like that was a part of it.

You'd probably have to scan the internet for an older version though, because they don't show very clearly on Logitech's official site anyway, beyond the newest hotness.
Which, like I said, might compliment your G29, or it might not.

Yes. Updated Firmware on LGS, LGS settings syncd with ATS, 900 degrees, steam no checkmarks in controller settings, while in big picture mode, in game wheel selected and calibrated using the input wizard, under ats button commands/assignments the steer left and right turn command under primary and secondary were all 4 unassigned, controller prioritized as "keyboard + G29 wheel " etc.

So UPDATE My new gaming PC with windows 10 and all my previous said settings has been tested and it worked after one initial try.

MAC SUCKS! Never gaming or using a mac again, done using them, been using them for about 5 years, not user friendly or compatible across the board for a wide spectrum of gaming needs whatsoever.

I had the same problem. all I did was unassigned all the keyboard steering than my wheel worked as it should.

Yeah see for some reason I tried that and made sure all the forum research and all the googling I did was adjusted and attempted with LGS Steam and ATS settings/commands, and it didnt work

but when I randomly closed out all 3 programs one time, Which i have done several times when I leave the house or take a break just to give my mac a break, it all of a sudden worked with 1:1 900 degree steering and I didnt do anything to it

then I leave for a week and come back home and fire it up again, and back to normal, same 90 degree turn registering as a full turn in ATS, so since I was fed up with all this I then bought all the parts and built the PC within a week.

And now im stoked for gaming in general. Console gamer my whole life.
