how do i find time limited free trials on steam?

i just learned that steam offers free weekend trials for games that are pay to play but steam doesnt promote those games on the store front (or idk how to look for them)

so how do i find them?

no thats not it, the game that i know of for this weekend is hell let loose and it is not listed in the news, here is the game page https://store.steampowered.com/search/?snr=1_4_4__12&term=hell+let+loose

i refreshed the page and its not there for me, maybe i need to restart steam but i am playing a game now so i cant do that

On SteamDB[steamdb.info] select "Free Promotions[steamdb.info]" from the menu (on desktop, hover the mouse at the top of the page to make it appear). This will take you to https://steamdb.info/upcoming/free/, which lists both free-for-a-limited-time and free-to-keep games grouped by current and upcoming promotions. The start and end of each promotion is listed, and you can click the link or hover the mouse over the text to get the exact date and time.
