how do i find time limited free trials on steam?
i just learned that steam offers free weekend trials for games that are pay to play but steam doesnt promote those games on the store front (or idk how to look for them)

so how do i find them?

Then enter 'play for free' in the search field.

This is a very good tip. I think I found an even better way, though.

On SteamDB[steamdb.info] select "Free Promotions[steamdb.info]" from the menu (on desktop, hover the mouse at the top of the page to make it appear). This will take you to https://steamdb.info/upcoming/free/, which lists both free-for-a-limited-time and free-to-keep games grouped by current and upcoming promotions. The start and end of each promotion is listed, and you can click the link or hover the mouse over the text to get the exact date and time.

Just use an other site to send you emails when there is a free game on sale or something really cheap. Its not that hard eventually I cant send the link in here but instead of looking like that you can get emailed when an 0.00$ comes.
