How to find out how many people have a wishlist in the steam store?

If you mean "how many people have wishlisted a certain game" - that's only available to the publisher/developer

If you want to see someone's wishlist - you can only see it if it isn't private

There seems to be a way to know how many users have steamed.

The only way to know is to be given the information by a developer. Privacy laws like GDPR prevent Steam from making that information public.

Just because you see something on a YouTube video doesn't make it factual.

Not sure how that video came around those numbers, but far as I know wishlist numbers are not exactly public as they're meant for dev/publisher as that data they use for themselves, so if dev / publisher gave out that info that be how they know the numbers to begin with.

Click on the search symbol,
in the URL replace ?term with ?ignore_preferences=1&filter=popularwishlist

Two things.

1. Read the order of the posts.
2. Followers Vs wishlisted.

If you wanted followers yes that can be found, like I said wishlist is not exactly public unless they said it.
