With 3000+ games im sure you have the experience with whats wrong here.

Games appearing as uninstalled are usually caused by:
- Not properly closing Steam or letting Steam sync;
- Using an external drive that either isn't connected when Steam launches or gets disconnected before Steam is properly closed.

If you use external drive, or extra internal drive you need to ensure they're ready to read before you launch Steam, if the drivers are in sleep mode, or inactive, Steam may not be able to interact with it right away which is the problem as Steam client searches for games appmanifest .act file, if it fails to see your game file it think it uninstalled, the game files will still be there just not detected.

To fix this either relaunch Steam, or readd Steam folder to the settings on Steam client.

Let say you have C, and D drive as example, you installed Steam on C drive, but it has problem seeing D drive for your other games you installed on it to fix this, rename Steamapp folder on D drive to Steamapp0, now open Steam settings for library management, if you see it saying there a folder for D drive right click remove it, now add new Steamapp folder in same place, once done shutdown Steam, go to D drive delete new Steamapp folder, and name back the steamapp0 back to Steamapp, now launch Steam it will redetect your games again.

Thanks everyone for your help but I always wait few minutes after game closed to close steam. Some of the deleted games wasnt touched for few days. I have plenty of space on both disks (where i have steam and games separately installed)

Find out why your drive is failing.

Other idea, be sure this is not a Filter issue, show installed and recent only, i have even install a game that was not activated as recent so it dont show on filter selected list.

By close you mean Exit, using any of the 3 ways to do that, and NOT just hitting the cross in the top-right like you'd close a Web browser?
