Sending steam gift
I was wondering if a game costs more in my region and i want it send it to a friend which prices are cheaper in his region can he accept the gift?

It costs 7$ in my region , 4$ in his region, i want to gift him. Would it work?

If there is a greater difference than 10% of the price between regions then it will not work. This was put in place to stop people abusing geographical pricing advantages.

Even if am willing to pay more , according to steamdb website is 23% difference of price

Send them a Digital Steam Gift card instead so that can make the purchase themselves.

As long as there is a 10% or more price difference, you will not be able to gift them the game through the store.

its not really nice to send money to someone and ask them to buy a game though, hope steam find a way to solve this issue.
